Network is the basic building block for LinkedIn. The network of a member determines their experience on Feed, Notifications, Search etc. The network growth and Pages AI team builds high-quality machine learning models and systems to help every member build the right network with all entities including members and company pages and leverage it to get value via multiple products like PYMK, Feed and Notifications. As a Manager in the Network growth and Pages AI team, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and scientists who build recommendation models, and create solutions to scale them

Collaborate with application engineering, product, data science and partner teams to design machine learning solutions to power Notification productions and optimize member experience.
Participate in key technical and design discussions with technical leads in the team.
Collaborate with application engineering, product, data science and partner teams to design machine learning solutions.

Operate best engineering and scientific practices & processes to ensure productivity of the team and drive faster iterations via A/B experiments.
Attract world class talent and provide technical guidance, career development, and mentoring to team members.

Manage the performance and career development of a small team of engineers
You will participate with senior management in developing a long-term technology road map.
You will coach the team to produce high-quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration.

Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent technical experience
-Experience of leading a team of engineers as a people manager for 1+ years
-4+ years of industry experience

Preferred Qualifications:
PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics or related fields
