As a Principal Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, roadmap, partnerships, and outbound business and messaging for Cloud Management tools. These tools include AWS Config, Cloud Trail, Audit Manager, and Systems Manager. The Principal Product Manager will play a crucial role in driving customer adoption and revenue growth for our client’s Cloud Management tools, which have experienced significant revenue and usage growth. This role requires an outbound-focused approach, where you will develop positioning and messaging, as well as lead outreach efforts to establish strong relationships with customers. By doing so, you will assist and advise customers of all sizes, from startups to large enterprises, in accelerating their journey to the cloud.
Key Job Responsibilities
– Define metrics, objectives, and goals for service adoption and success.
– Develop outreach plans to establish trusted advisor status with key users within our client’s customer base.
– Analyze customer behavior to identify best practice usage patterns and share them with all customers.
– Create content to support outreach efforts, enhance customer understanding, and enable customer success.
– Collaborate effectively with various teams within our client’s organization, including sales, business development, product marketing, and evangelism, to achieve business goals.
– Engage with industry analysts, such as Gartner, to influence criteria and ratings.
A Day in the Life
In this role, you will work closely with Cloud Operations business development and solution architect teams, as well as field teams including Account Managers, Customer Success Managers, Technical Account Managers, and Solution Architects. Your focus will be on driving adoption and ensuring customer success.
About the Team

– 10+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, or equivalent go-to-market roles in a technology context.
– 5+ years of experience in crafting technical product positioning, messaging, content, and programs.
– Strong technical fluency and ability to discuss technology concepts.
– Bachelor’s degree.
– MBA or Master’s degree.
– Strong analytical skills, including experience working with data, developing insights, and tracking program metrics.
– Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
