Our Ads Diagnosis & Optimization team is working on building the next-generation ads bidding & ranking diagnosis platform for Ads to support that growth and help empower creators, connect people, and explore possibilities. We are seeking Software Engineers with a solid background in auction, recommendation, or deep learning to help us improve our existing delivery system that optimizes experience and monetization efficiency. You will have the opportunity to partner closely with a fully globalized team to deep dive into engineering design and state-of-the-art machine learning models iteration across many kinds of products growth in a high-impact and fast-paced environment. Some of the world’s most challenging technical and business problems are waiting for you to solve.


– Understand ads platform objectives and take full advantage of modern machine learning techniques to improve ads relevance and quality delivered to end users.
– Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other disciplines to diagnose delivery problems, optimize experiences and improve monetization efficiency on our platform.
– Explore and Develop core systems and algorithms , including ads bidding, ads targeting, ads ranking, model serving reliability, etc.
– Conduct cutting-edge research in auction, recommendation, or deep learning related problems, and apply the technology to different business scenarios.

Minimum Qualifications

– Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms, proficient in at least one coding language, including but not limited to Go, C/C++, Java. Familiar with Linux development environments, and basic knowledge and skills in statistics.
– Good theoretical grounding in machine learning concepts and techniques (CNN/RNN/LSTM, etc.).
– Curiosity towards new technology and outstanding ability to analyze and solve ads delivery problems.

Preferred Qualifications

– Familiar with architecture and implementation of at least one mainstream machine learning programming framework (TensorFlow/Pytorch/MXNet).
– Good understanding in one of the following domains: ads bidding & auction, ads quality control, and online advertising systems (familiar with one or more of these terms: CPC/CPM, CTR/CVR, Ranking /Targeting, Conversion/Budget, Campaign/Creative, Demand/Inventory).
