– Identifying U.S. state & local indirect tax issues related to new business initiatives
– Researching state and local indirect tax issues including taxability of products and services
– Provide tax reporting guidance based on research of transaction tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
– Respond to and resolve notices promptly
– Review U.S. indirect tax filings
– Review reconciliations of U.S. indirect tax general ledger accounts
– Special projects as needed

Required skills

– Advanced knowledge of tax accounting, audit process, and tax law;
– Experience with preparing complicated tax returns for corporate.
– Detail-oriented, organized and able to deliver on tight timelines
– Be able to work with multicultural team and be patience and understanding
– Be able to work with a fast paced start-up
– Microsoft Excel proficient

Minimum Qualifications

– BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience
– 5 or more years of U.S. indirect tax experience with a public accounting firm and/or multinational corporation
– CPA required
