About the team

We are “Content Understanding” team. “Content Understanding” is essentially a system of tags, which describes content, creators, and users from different dimensions and perspectives. We work with Algos, build up different models to provide such a robust tag system, including Taxonomy, Interest label, etc. In this system, all entities are represented by a set of definitive tags and tag combinations. The advantage of this representation is that it connects different entities. For example, a ‘food’ creator and a user who likes ‘food’ content are connected through the common descriptor ‘food’.
The interaction between content, creators, and users has a wide range of application scenarios and commercial value, and the tag system is the bridge that links them together. Establishing a tag system to unify content, creators, and users under the same descriptive framework facilitates the expansion of various business applications in corresponding scenarios, such as content recommendation and distribution, vertical operations, data analysis, ecosystem monitoring, and strategic planning, etc.
