As a Tech Lead Manager (Android) for the Social team, you will – Lead an engineering direction with a group of top level engineers, to achieve business impact by solving ambiguous product and engineering problems. – Be an expert of a particular domain; create an execute the engineering roadmap to achieve incremental business impact. – Leverage data to understand our users and our product in-depth, identify areas of opportunity and execute projects to drive user growth, retention, and/or engagement. – Collaborate with design and product teams to create a world-class mobile experience. – Analyse and optimize mobile applications for efficiency and performance. – Promote robust and maintainable code, clear documentation, and deliver high-quality work on a tight schedule. Minimum Qualification – BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent majors. – Ability to design an engineering solution to solve ambiguous problems. – Strong understanding of software development principles, capabilities, and limitations of the Android platform. – Proficiency in Java or Kotlin. – Ability to understand and debug large and complex code bases. Preferred Qualifications – 5+ years of working experience in native Android Development – Passion and experience building consumer-facing products is a huge plus; We would love to hear about apps you’ve developed! |
