Responsibilities

– Develop and maintain a global logistics and warehousing network by leveraging data analysis, machine learning, and operational research methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and minimize cost.
– Generate a comprehensive data portrait of the supply chain in various dimensions, such as vendors, commodities, origin points, inventory, production capabilities, and order fulfillment quality. Establish data-driven methodologies for control and adjustment to improve operational outcomes and the user experience.
– Identify and highlight global e-commerce trends to optimize the supply of e-commerce commodities, forecast demand, suggest vendor stocking, and enhance production capacity.
Role & Responsibilities:
– As a Tech Lead Manager, you will also be expected to lead and manage a small team, providing guidance, fostering growth, and ensuring that project timelines are met.
– We are seeking a motivated, professional individual to contribute to the construction and enhancement of our smart supply chain through business-focused data mining and continuous algorithm iteration.
– The candidate must possess strong analytical skills to comprehend the underlying logic of the e-commerce supply chain and the creativity to spot and exploit opportunities for improvement in warehouse layout optimization, inbound and outbound logistics, vehicle routing, and inventory planning.
– The successful candidate will be expected to build optimization models and design algorithms for decision support. Strong communication skills are necessary for engaging with clients, understanding their business challenges, presenting results, and partnering with Operations and R&D teams throughout the engagement and implementation process.


Qualifications

– Hold a Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Automation, Statistics, Mathematics, Logistics, or Operations Research.
– Experience in solving LP/ IP problems using tools such as Gurobi, CPLEX, SCIP, ORTools, and proficient in programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or C++. Familiarity with basic data structures and algorithms is required.
– Demonstrable skills and experience in machine learning, data analytics, and feature engineering.
– Self-driven, with a solid understanding of the underlying logic of the business and the ability to adapt to rapid business changes.
– Excellent communication skills, effective team leadership, and the courage to drive business change.
It’s a plus if you have:
– Experience in applying logistics-related algorithms in the e-commerce sector, optimization experience in large-scale operations research problems, and familiarity with various heuristic algorithms.
– Previous experience leading and managing a technical team in a fast-paced environment.
