About the team IaaS division focuses on building large-scale and highly available cloud infrastructure, which supports both public cloud products (like VolcEngine ECS service) and ByteDance internal products. IaaS-US team focuses on the development and research of ByteDance Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platform. Responsibilities – Lead the design and prototype of key technologies or products. – Research and follow trends from industry companies, open-source communities and academia. – Review design and implementation and ensure it is aligned with long term vision and roadmap. – Communicate and coordinate with partner teams to deliver projects on time with high quality. Minimum Qualification -BS or above degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience. -3+ years experience of leading software development projects. -Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure or AI infrastructure. -Good communication, self-motivation, engineering practice, and working collaboratively in cross-functional teams. -Familiar with the following areas: -AI Infra (training optimizations, Inference engines, collective communication libraries, etc.) -Hardware & server platform technologies (next-gen CPU, DPU, GPU, CXL, etc.) Preferred Qualification -Experience of building large-scale infrastructure at leading companies such as AWS/Azure/GCP. -Experience with research and publications. |
