We are seeking a Motion Planning Engineer to design and implement algorithms that enable autonomous vehicles to navigate safely and intelligently in complex urban environments. Key Responsibilities – Design and refine motion planning algorithms, including trajectory generation, behavior planning, and decision-making. – Develop and maintain planning modules for deployment in real-world autonomous driving systems. – Collaborate closely with perception, prediction, and control teams to ensure effective system integration. – Conduct evaluations through both simulation and on-road testing. – Contribute to the planning architecture and software infrastructure design. – Ensure planning systems meet requirements for safety, latency, and overall performance. Qualifications – Master’s or Ph.D. in CS, Robotics, EE, or related field. – Proficiency in C++ and Python. – Strong grasp of algorithms and data structures. – Practical experience with motion planning techniques such as A*, RRT, optimization-based, and rule-based methods. – Familiarity with ROS, Linux environments, and real-time systems. – Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills. – Collaborative, team-oriented, and proactive approach. – Preferred Qualifications – Published research or academic contributions in autonomous driving or motion planning. – Hands-on experience deploying planning systems in real-world vehicles. – Solid understanding of vehicle dynamics and control systems. |
