Responsibilities – Conduct a proactive, relationship-focused sales process targeting 30-40 prospects/accounts. Drive aggressive sales goals with the support of the Regional BD Director. Build strong relationships from engineering to C-level personnel, speeding up the sales cycle from sensor evaluation to small field test deployments. – Develop a strong pipeline of new business opportunities through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting. – Qualify incoming leads from our corporate website, tradeshows, and marketing campaigns in the North America Region. – Use our North America’s CRM to manage customer and contact information, track and log activities, and maintain revenue forecasts, including product and delivery dates. – Manage a select list of existing customers, developing proactive sales engagement strategies and co-marketing support programs to increase sensor revenue each quarter. – Provide logistics support to our Digital/Event Marketing team for NAM tradeshows and industry conferences. Attend trade shows to engage with prospects and strengthen relationships with existing customers. – Identify new customer/prospect requirements and communicate them to product management, industry manager/product marketing, and engineering teams. Be responsive to customer needs, work cross-functionally to satisfy customers, grow relationships, and maintain internal reporting/forecasting for business operations and finance teams. Qualifications: – 5+ years of experience in industrial account sales, demonstrating a results-oriented approach and strong motivation, with 2+ years of lidar experience recommended. – High technical proficiency with LiDAR sensors and their real-world applications, including autonomous vehicles, smart infrastructure, and 3D mapping is preferred. – Proven ability to exceed sales targets and successfully manage customer projects. – Analytical and proactive, able to anticipate and address potential obstacles. – Resourceful and creative in achieving goals efficiently. – Results-driven with a strong work ethic and motivation to excel. – Organized and diligent, maintaining regular follow-ups and managing necessary documents and tools. – Professional and personable, effectively communicating with everyone from VPs to entry-level staff. – Self-aware and open to feedback, with a focus on continuous improvement. – Experienced in managing strategic high-level accounts with growth potential. |
