About The Team

Our database development team is responsible for building and owning database products used by our company's infrastructure including but not limited to relational databases, distributed cache, key-value stores, document stores, and Graph stores. In this team, you’ll have the opportunity to develop and enhance that NoSQL database service in a cloud-native environment. We embrace a culture of self-direction, intellectual curiosity, openness, and problem-solving.


Responsibilities

- Lead the design and development of our company's in-house DocumentDB architecture.
- Optimize the storage engine of our company's DocumentDB.


Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, communication, or related fields.
- Proficient in at least one or multiple languages from C/C++/Go/Python in the Linux environment.
- Familiar with the principles, architecture, and implementation of MongoDB/AWS DocumentDB.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.


Preferred Qualifications

About The Team

The mission of our AML team is to push the next-generation AI infrastructure and recommendation platform for the ads ranking, search ranking, live & ecom ranking in our company. Currently, we are looking for Machine Learning Engineer in Model Training Infrastructure to join our team to support and advance that mission.


Responsibilities

- Responsible for the design and implementation of a global-scale machine learning system for feeds, ads and search ranking models.

About the Team

The mission of our AML team is to push the next-generation AI infrastructure and recommendation platform for the ads ranking, search ranking, live & ecom ranking in our company. We also drive substantial impact on core businesses of the company. Currently, we are looking for Machine Learning Engineer in Model Training Infrastructure to join our team to support and advance that mission.


Responsibilities

- Responsible for the design and implementation of a global-scale machine learning system for feeds, ads and search ranking models.
- Responsible for improving use-ability and flexibility of the machine learning infrastructure.
- Responsible for improving the workflow of model training and serving, data pipelines, storage system and resource management for multi-tenancy machine learning systems.
- Responsible for designing and developing key components of ML infrastructure and mentoring interns.


Job requirements

- Proficient in C/C++/CUDA/Python, and have solid programming skills.
- Familiar with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow/Pytorch).
- Experience in developing and deploying large-scale systems.
- Ability to work independently and complete projects from beginning to end and in a timely manner.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to clearly communicate technical concepts with other teammates.
- Experience on improving core machine learning infrastructure(TensorFlow, Pytorch, and Jax).
- Experience contributing to an open sourced machine learning framework (TensorFlow/PyTorch).
- Experience in using/designing open-source machine learning lifecycle management systems: TFX

About the Team

The infrastructure system lab works on cutting-edge infrastructure system innovations, including but not limited to compute, storage, database, networking, etc. We look for exceptional experienced professionals to join our team, which is composed of talents from many top companies.


Responsibilities

- Deep understanding of the business; experience with leading the major design and architecture of embedded storage systems as well as promoting the best practices across the company.
- Define the infrastructure evolution strategy and oversee the execution based on the company's business, industry trends, and technology stack. - Design, review, document, and maintain product source code in C/C++.
- Develop and customize firmware per internal and external customer requirements.
- Perform unit tests and product testing on various platforms and ensure the firmware quality.
- Design and develop software tools in C/C++ to collect and analyze statistical data and debug logs from storage devices.
- Responsible for the design and implementation of the company's cutting-edge software/hardware co-design solutions.
- Write papers and patent applications.


Requirements

- Master degrees in computer-related fields. Ph.D. degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in firmware development for enterprise SSD drives
- Deep understanding of computer architecture, hardware/software co-design and optimization techniques.
- Hands-on experience in analyzing complex firmware architecture and strong debugging skills.
- Demonstrating proficiency in C/C++ and understanding of object oriented concepts is a must.
- Experience in Flash Translation Layer is a must.
- Knowledge of NAND technology including ONFI/TOGGLE command sequence, NAND media organization, Media Characterization, and Error handling.
- Knowledge of NVMe spec including basic command protocol, ZNS/FDP/Multi-stream etc.
- Familiar with Agile software development process.
- Experience with FIO/SPDK/Linux Driver is preferred.
