Job Summary Develop and oversee the organization’s financial strategy, encompassing operations in both the U.S. and Mexico. Provide financial analysis and support to business leaders in achieving financial goals. Manage and coordinate daily accounting activities, ensuring accurate recording of expenses and revenues in line with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Oversee tasks related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, recording of fixed assets, and cash management. Take charge of general ledger accounting. Manage financial transactions and obligations of the organization, along with forecasting cash flow. Generate comprehensive management reports to analyze business performance from various perspectives. Contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the accounting and finance departments through active financial management. Maintain basic internal controls to safeguard revenue and assets and mitigate risks. Key Job Responsibilities Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, with a strong foundation in bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations. A minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role in Finance/Accounting, with exposure to U.S. and Mexico markets. Extensive knowledge of GAAP and strong accounting and business skills. Advanced analytical abilities and exceptional attention to detail. Commitment to accurate reporting. Problem-solving mindset and team management skills. Emotional maturity and the ability to perform under tight deadlines in a team environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Advanced proficiency in MS Office, accounting software, and databases, with the ability to handle large data sets. |
