Team Introduction

Our team is a platform team that develops state-of-art ad technologies, including ranking, retrieval, targeting, bidding, auction, etc. Our team's mission is to optimize organic and paid traffic together to deliver better ROI for advertisers, deliver native ads with better user experience in the open-loop industry. You will be part of a team that's optimizing ads format and ranking strategies, and you will be responsible for bringing a better return on investment for advertisers.


What You'll Do
- Improve the effectiveness of spark ads delivery in all ads ranking systems, improve user experience and ROI.
- Develop open-loop bidding products by joint optimization of recommendation traffic and ads traffic.
- Iterate bidding strategy to reach the ROI and CPA goal.
- Improve anchor model efficiency, including privacy preserving environments.
- Improve user experience, maximize the delivery effect with minimal experience loss.


Minimum Qualifications

- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 5+ years industry experience and 2+ year model optimization experience.
- Solid programming skills, proficient in C/C++ and Python. Familiar with basic data structure and algorithms. Familiar with Linux development environment.
- Good analytical thinking capability. Have essential knowledge and skills in statistics.
- Good theoretical grounding in deep learning concepts and techniques.
- Familiar with architecture and implementation of at least one mainstream machine learning programming framework (TensorFlow/Pytorch/MXNet), familiar with its architecture and implementation mechanism.


Preferred Qualifications

- Good understanding in one of the following domains: ads bidding & auction, ads quality control, and online advertising systems (familiar with one or more of these terms: CPC/CPM, CTR/CVR, Ranking /Targeting, Conversion/Budget, Campaign/Creative, Demand/Inventory, DSP/RTB).
- Experience in resource management and task scheduling with large scale distributed software (such as Spark and TensorFlow).

Job Description

Collaborate with customer engineering and internal cross-functional team members to design, build, and test component or final product.
- Investigate and develop mechanical design concepts to achieve product performance requirements.
- Define, build, and characterize physical prototypes on assigned mechanical packages/components.
- Perform tolerance analysis on parts designs to ensure requirements for assembly, functionality, and cosmetics can be met.

What You Will Do

- Design board-level solutions consisting of mixed-signal circuitry with high-speed ADC, FPGAs, MPSoCs, MCU, DDR/LPDDR, high-speed LVDS, MIPI, Multi-G Ethernet Phy, SPI, clocking, PLL, I2C, DC converters etc.
- Be responsible for the design, starting with concept and architecture, followed by schematic design and layout, fabrication and assembly with coordination and kitting with the assembly house, and final testing and integration.
- Own the PCB schematic and layout design with OrCAD and Allegro, work with layout engineers. Responsible for running circuitry simulation with PSPICE or other simulation tools, and board bring-up, debugging.
- Work with interdisciplinary functional teams including FW/SW, ME, Systems, Mfg. from concept phase to mass production.
- Work with NPI team to provide guidance on the PCBA testing including test items, procedures, pass/fail criteria.


Who You Are

- A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 10+ years of working experience in high-speed, mixed-circuit board-level design containing ADCs, FPGAs, SoCs & MCUs. OR a Master/Ph.D. plus 6+ years of working experience in the field.
- Must have plenty of experience in highspeed circuit design/debugging with good understanding of parasitic effect and impedance control.
- Must be proficient in using all necessary testing and measurement tools and techniques at or above 1 GHz.
- Able to work with the manufacturer and supplier to support volume ramp and PCB quality control.
