The Position This role supports areas of field Service operation related to commissioning, warranty, and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of the expanding installed sites in the region. Reporting to the regional field service supervisor, this position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and commissioning support of PV inverters and ancillary equipment/ systems, usually at the customer’s site or at a staging yard/warehouse. This position will comply with the Safety Mandate, “ZERO HARM,” to ensure safe and efficient work and operation of the facility for all personnel and equipment. Ensures that personnel and safety issues are given priority to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Implements and enforces safety management policy and procedures regarding the facility: safety information, hazard analysis, safe operations/Maintenance Training, subcontractor compliance, plant integrity, work permits, emergency planning, and response. Duties and Responsibilities: • Perform a variety of technical assignments involving the installation, operation, testing, and maintenance of string and central solar inverter and/or BESS Systems, PCS, batteries, and ancillary equipment. • Perform general troubleshooting and diagnosis under Sungrow’s maintenance and repair guidelines. • As needed, support and perform pre-commissioning (with and without grid emulator) and commissioning of solar inverters and BESS systems within schedule and work plans • Additionally, for those on O&M capacity, perform Preventive Maintenance and other Long Term Service Agreement (LTSA) activities per the contract • Investigate solar plant issues such as DC array grid faults, inverter design issues, and utility grid transients. Job Description • Work with commissioning team to get the new projects in the assigned region successfully commissioned and handed over into warranty period. • Build, manage and train the local service team or third-party contractor in the assigned region. • Customer technical and warranty claims interface for all the BESS projects in the assigned region for warranty period. • Work with local team and oversea design team to provide the solutions for all the warranty claims in the assigned region. • Build and conduct the annual maintenance plan for all the projects in the assigned region. • Master the troubleshooting skills for the BESS projects and instruct the daily work for local service team; • Provide the monthly O&M report for all the BESS projects in the assigned region. • Manage spare parts within the region and maintain a stable and safe inventory for operations. • Manage and record the important tools and equipment provided to maintenance personnel within the region. • Report and escalate to management as needed. • Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders. • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors. • Cooperate and communicate effectively with a multinational team under demanding timelines. • Represent the Department at internal and external meetings when instructed. • Other duties as assigned. Work Environment This position requires long-term outdoor work, the need to learn and master specialized debugging software, and the use of various types of basic electrical tools. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and fax machines. Team Introduction Enterprise Security team is responsible for global enterprise cyber security, server security, endpoint security, application security construction, and protection work.
